Hi, I’m Qi (‘chi’ when you say it out loud), a hybrid creative\u2014the term’s a little ambiguous, but it’s the best way I know to sum up what I do in two words!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve got a Bachelor’s in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, which taught me a lot about thinking critically, writing persuasively, and how to tackle problems from different perspectives\u2014skills that have been majorly handy in both design and marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the last few years, I’ve worked in marketing and design at a building and technology start-up, going from the first (and only) marketing person in the company, to helping build a small marketing team that services five verticals under the one company, each one across a different industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my free time, I write and produce songs for other artists and myself through Universal Music Publishing, and enjoy tucking in with a grand strategy video game every now and again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m always up for a good challenge, and I love learning new and better ways to solve problems: the more knowledge in my pocket, the merrier, I say. For me, a great joy is getting to work, collaborate, and connect with others on great projects, but that said, you’ll find me just as happy chugging along on my own steam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
